It goes without saying that the time for our study and work is unusually limited. So even an hour is extremely precious. We should make full use of our time to do useful things. In today’s environment, friends become an essential part of people’s life Firstly, keeping old friends is of more significance than making new onesold friends are more trust-worthy than new friends. When people are in trouble, they can always turn to their old friends for help. For example, my childhood friend, Tom, is really a kind-hearted person. Secondly, cultivating a genuine friendship needs time. For instance, individuals need time to know each other, to build shared memories and to invest in each other’s growth. Therefore, we could safely draw the conclusion that even though there are some merits of making new friends, it is more important to keep old friends, because they can surely give us a hand when we are in the middle of trouble, and we will have enough time to concentrate on cultivating the true friendship. Just as Joseph Parry said in his poem, new friends are silver, old friends are gold.

3(亲情) Discuss a person you respect or admire. And why?

In my life, there are many people I admire, and what I respect most is my mother. Maybe many people will say they admire one popular singer or a famous scientist most, but in my life,my mother juse like a knowlegeable teacher ,who teach me to love and live.

She teach me how to make friends and how to get along with them ,she teach me how to give love to others, she also do it well herself, in a word, she is a kind and helpful mother,

In other hands ,when I make mistakes ,she never blame me for mistakes , she will tell me to admit it and help me to stand up when I fail . She is just like a book, from which I can find the ture meaning of life, in other wors, she give me life and tell me how to value the life,

Maybe my mother is not so famous as singers or scientists ,maybe there won't be may people who knows her, but she is working hard and giving her whole life to the developing society and her family.

That's why I admire my mother most, she is the greatest person in my life.

Nowadays, there is a widespread concern over the issue that what kind of job we should take,People, however, differ in their opinions on this matter.

Some peole treat their job as career and tend to find a job they are interested in so that they can work in cheerful mood. While others think that the salary of the job is more important, because they can lead a cosy life with a descent wage.

In my point of view, I would rather get a job I am interested in.

In the first place, working accounts for a large part of out time. If we take a job less interesting, the rest of our life will be 's more, we should seize the golden chance to do what we want to do ,we must choose the career which we are interested in .Last but not the least, If we do all that we are good at ,we will become more confident. 5(爱情). Do you believe in love at first sight? What’s your definition of “true love”?

Do you believe I have never believe fallen in love at first sight in my life and it is very difficult for me to happen.I can say it may be impossible It seems an old question,but I put forward it because one of my friend asked me such a question in her email,and it makes me think a lot.

Obviously most of us believe there are true love in the world and continue to look for it during our long life till we find it. Like Love is the candle in the dark and the fireplace against the is a key to open the door of a closed heart. Love is all!

But the ways lead to true love are different .Falling in love at the first sight is just one of it,and further ,it seems only happen in the films and novels. As for me , I believe it can happen in the practical world and appreciate it. However ,more and more,the true love needs the trial of time in the practic, experience you and your lover own will tell you if it is true love between two of you. 3.托福口语学习法则

1、发音

关于发音,我们能做到一点就可以,就是不要发错了,最可怕的发音不是发音不好听是把单词念错了。

这确实是我们说英语的一个问题,所以我们在说英语的时候不能把单词发错了。如何能让自己的发音不出问题呢?这就需要理论结合实践,首先我们要知道每一个音标的发音,然后买一本《英语九百句》或者像VOA(慢速英语)这样的读物去模仿,每天用半个小时的时间跟读练习,坚持三个月大家的发音基本就没有问题了。

2、表达

关于表达,就是平时要多说英语,多和别人交流(去英语角或者晨读或者没事自己多背诵一些东西都可以),要是能找一个老外就了,正所谓:The more you speak the more progress you will make.但是这个过程还有一个好的办法,可以让我们更容易去表达我们想要表达的,就是用英文字典。要用英英版,这样我们每学一个单词就知道如果如何用英语去解释这个单词,当我们形成了这种解释的思维方式表达就更容易。具有的英语表达能力不需要我们有单词和很大句型,需要的是我们有一种解释的思维方式。

举个例子就能地说明这一点,就是以前一个中国人去加拿大定居,这个人英语单词量很小,单词都不会说,但他经常能地表达自己,有一天他去商店买发酵粉(baking powder)这个英语单词确实很难,但是他用了一些小学词汇表达了这个词的概念,说的是:I wanna buy something make steamed bread can bigger and bigger.

4.托福口语朗读法介绍

(1)段子的难度要适中!不要拿GRE阅读来练发音朗读。要知道自己要做的朗读段子练发音,而不是练阅读理解。

(2)这个阅读材料要有一个漂亮的音频跟它相匹配:这样你跟着音频去跟读,去朗读。

(3)了解语音语调知识:比如说哪些音和哪些音容易混淆。

(4)相信自己,大声朗读:朗读时,声音要端坐挺胸、大声清晰、音调准确。

(5)录下自己的朗读:你在读这个东西的时候,你可以把它录下音来,让你周围的朋友,英语发音比较好的朋友去帮你听一听,把你的错误给你挑出来。

(6)阅读材料的跟进:阅读的材料,不在于你读了多少段,而在于在读每一段,每一遍,你是不是有所改进。你把10-20个段子都读得特别棒,就可以了。

5.托福口语要注意的问题

1.单词问题

考生在托福口语考试中之所以分数比较低,是因为考生掌握的词汇量有限,不能灵活的使用各种词汇帮助自己表达自己想表达的内容。

单词的解决方法:

考生在备考的时候可以采用五种办法帮助自己记忆单词。①阅读记忆法,考生在记忆单词的时候,可以把它们融入阅读之中来记忆;②笔记记忆法,在记单词的时候,找一张白纸,把中间对着,然后把词组抄在左边,汉语抄在右边,对照记忆;③间隔反复记忆法,考生可以早午晚分不同的时间背单词,循环记忆;④联想记忆法,看到一个单词的时候,考生可以首先回想这些记忆和自己记过的单词有没有相似的地方,⑤勤于查字典:考生在遇到不会的单词的时候应该先查字典。

2.句子问题

在托福口语考试中虽然没有明确的说明考生只有学会灵活的使用各种句型才能帮助自己取得,但是如果考生只会简单的使用一些句型或者是使用的句型中出现错误的话,肯定是很难取得的。

句子问题的解决办法:

考生之所以存在这些问题,主要是对语法的能力掌握的不好。所以我建议大家在备考的时候,增强对于语法能力的掌握。建议考生在备考的时候,增强对于非谓语动词,比如动词不定式,动名词和现在分词,过去分词的掌控能力,其次考生应该学会应用虚拟语气,被动语态,强调句和倒装句等等。

3.笔记问题

托福口语考试是在所有的考试中一个对于时间的要求比较敏感的考试,所有的题目加上备考时间和答题时间,没有一个超过了一分钟。所以考生如果在这么短的时间内没有笔记的辅助的话,是很难连贯的表达自己的语言的。
