I'm going to Beijing tomorrow,so now I feel very happy.I will go there by plane and stay there for 10 is my first time to go to Beijing,not only the Olympic Games is coming,but also I can learn more knowledges about the Olympic it is a great chance for me to communicate with foreigners,so I won't miss ,now I want to say:Beijing,I'm coming!

The "Project Hope"

Education plays a very important role in the development of China. As is known to all, China has the largest population in the world and most of them live in the countryside. Since the economic conditions there are rather poor, many families,especially in the remote areas, cannot afford to send their children to school, many children have to drop from school. The "Project Hope" is aimed at solving this problem so that every child of school age can receive regular education.

The "Project Hope" mainly depends on the contributions of the urban people and overseas Chinese who care about the development of China's education. The contributed money will be distributed by "Project Hope" council to the countryside to help the children who cannot afford the education. One hundred yuan will help such a child finish his primary education.

"Project Hope" is a good way to promote the education in the rural areas, but it is far from being sufficient. By now,only a small portion of the children benefit from it. Therefore,I suggest that government at all levels and people of all walks of life pay more attention to the problem and do much more to help raise the educational level of the country.

希望工程

教育在中国起着举足轻重的作用,众所周知,中国是世界上人口最多的国家,而且很多人都居住在乡下。由于经济条件不好,许多家庭,特别是边远地区都无法负担得起他们的孩子上学,许多孩子不得不弃学。而“希望工程”的目的就是解决这些问题的,以保证每一个学龄儿童都能够接受义务教育。

希望工程的的基金主要来源于城市百姓和关心中国教育发展的海外华侨的捐献。受赠资金由希望工程理事会发放到那些无法正常入学的孩子手中。一百元将能帮助一个孩子完成他的小学教育。

“希望工程”是一个很好的将教育事业推入正常轨道的方式,但是这些还是远远不够的。目前,只有很少一部分孩子有这样一个受益机会,因此,我建议社会各界人士人政府能够引起足够的重视来促进国民素质的发展。
